I will be adding lot more low fat recipes as I update the site (whenever I get some free time), since lot of people are looking for this kind of information on the net these days. I’ve chosen my first topic in this category as “Low Fat Salad Recipes”
Low Fat Cucumber Salad
(Very easy to make)
What you need :
• 1 Cucumber
• 1/2 Cup strained fat-free yogurt
• 1/4 Cup fresh mint, finely chopped
How to make :
Just follow these simple steps
Cut Cucumber in thin round slices. Mix curd and mint together in a bowl. After that, add cucumber and toss until coated. Cover the salad and refrigerate for 2-4 hours. After 2-4 hours your Low Fat Cucumber Salad is ready to serve.
Low Fat Breakfast Salad
Very easy to make. Good way to start the day with only 170 calories.
What you need :
* 150g Baby Leaf Spinach
* 1 Medium Egg
* 2 Medium Tomatoes
* 2 Slices Extra Lean Ham
How to make :
Follow the simple steps listed below
1. Rinse spinach and leave to drain.
2. Turn on grill.
3. Bring pan of water to boil and poach egg.
4. Slice tomatoes in half and place under grill.
5. While egg and tomatoes are cooking, slice ham to your preference.
6. Arrange spinach leaves on plate, and sprinkle chopped ham on top.
7. Place cooked egg and tomatoes on bed of spinach and enjoy your low fat breakfast salad.
